Walking through the park, Nattalie couldn't help but remember the times she had spent with her Father in their own garden. The park was beautiful, roses, and all sorts of flowers lining the pathway. She wasn't exactly use to New York area yet, so she had stumbled upon this here Garden by accident. How funny. She sat down on a park bench, listening to the slight breeze the went through the rows of flowers and others of nature's creations.

Lamonique's pants were falling off. I should have gotten a smaller size... the teenager thought, as she yanked her blue jeans up.
Lamonique walked on the pathway to a few benches, and was humming 'Deck the Halls'. She had just put up her tree, and was in a jolly mood. Anyway, Lamonique continued walking, and kicked some rocks of the pathway. After two minutes, she stumbled upon Nattalie, and smiled.
"Nat!" The teenager exclaimed, grinning her cute smile. |

Nattalie looked up, and Lam was before her. "Hey! What's up lady?" she asked the girl. It had been only a few days, about two, since they last talked, but it had felt like forever. "How have you been? What have you been up to?" she asked, getting up to give her friend a hug.

"I've been good. I just put up my Christmas Tree. I like to put it up early so I can decorate it peacefully." Lamonique grinned, and hugged Nattlie.

"Nothing much," she replied, grinning. "I have yet to put up a Christmas Tree, because I haven't met everyone yet in our dorm," she said. She burst out laughing as Lam hiked her pants up. "Got a size to big? Typical," she said, trying hard to keep a straight face.

"Yeah, maybe two sizes to big." Lamonique didn't want to laugh at herself, but yes, it was quite funny. Instead, the teenager burst out laughing. |

Nattalie patted her friends shoulder. "You're so funny sometimes Lam," she said, giggling. "Hey, did you hear about the Party Mrs. V is having in the Ballroom?" she asked, after her fit of giggles were over. "I'd so love to go, would you like to come as well?" she asked, a grin on her face. "I think it's formal, so you don't have to worry about losing your pants," she said, going back into a fit of giggles.

"Nope, I did't hear about it, but I would love to go!" At the word 'formal' Lamonique groaned. "Uhg, I NEVER wear formal clothes. It's... just not my nature." Lamonique said, and then grinned. "Well, there's that." The teenager giggled. |

She smiled, Nattalie wasn't a fan of formal dressing. But, she had brought her own dress that she had gotten for her birthday, and was glad that it would be of some use. "Hey, I agree. But it'll be fun!" she said, smiling. "If you want, we can go shopping for a less than formal, yet still special occasion outfit," she said, thinking about going shopping in New York. She'd been here for only a year, but she had never been shopping at NY. How fun.
