Holly can't stand incredibly low-rise jeans, Gucci bags, dogs, watercolor paints and thin high heels.
Holly is the sweetest, meanest person you will ever meet. She blows hot and cold everyday and you never know what mood you'll find her in. The best thing is to just avoid her as much as you can, and when you have to come in contact with her, talk as little as possible. Unless you're in one of her classes - then she wants to hear from you.Appearance:
Holly doesn't have a split personality disorder or anything - it's just that sometimes she's incredibly snarly, sarcastic and snippy with her words and other days, she's relatively nice and might give the occasional backhanded compliment. Watch out for her on those good days though - she can change her mood faster than anything.
Holly doesn't believe in being "sweet," because she thinks that people will be dishonest with you and take advantage of you the first moment they get if you put your guard down for a bit. Holly's not very trusting at all.
It's very surprising when people see her at home - she's an entirely different person. She's loving and caring to her husband and children, and her family makes her seem almost human.
Holly has light tan skin. She looks a little older than she is, but not by much and her most intense wrinkles haven't come on yet. She has dark brown eyes and her black hair is always styled somehow. Holly likes sculpting her eyebrows (for some strange, unknown reason though her children think it's because she wants to look younger). Holly has no tattoos, but both her ears are pierced. She doesn't believe in getting anything but your ears pierced. She's about 5 feet and 6 and a half inches tall, weighing at around 160 lbs. She has a scar on her leg from when she was little and received a rather nasty beating from her father.History:
Holly never claimed to have a tough life. If anything, she said her life was easy compared to others. Despite her tough childhood and growing up in a household where daily beatings for the smallest things were common, Holly adopted a hard attitude from when she was around seven years old or so. She was often not allowed to cry and she couldn't let people know when things bothered her, so Holly ended up keeping a lot of her emotions bottled up. To this day, she still keeps those secrets. They don't seem to bother her any longer though.Experience:
Holly went through life being a passive, pessimistic person - and to some degree, she still is one. She doesn't like recounting the details of her life, because to be honest, she can't remember most of them. She claims that she was just going through the motions and she never really paid any attention to anything going on around her. Holly, however, doesn't regret this at all.
Her life changed slightly for the better when she met her husband, Roger, in grad school. It was the first time anyone really tried hard for Holly and after many months of Roger pursuing her, Holly came to love the man.
And that's how she got to where she is today.

- 3 years as an English teacher at Saint Ann's School
Holly has an excellent understanding of literature - the figurativeness of it all especially. She likes to study metaphors in poetry and stories alike. She's interested in finding the underlying voice and she believe she can get others interested in it as well.
I hope to give everyone a head start in "real life."
