OOC: This is ONLY for those in Room 102. Please PM me or one of the other Roomies to join.
IC:A decently large bag, plus some smaller bags and her carry-on backpack was in tow. A girl, young and surprisingly pretty, was carrying them all. No, she wasn't one who had other's carry her own things, but right now, she wished someone was coming along to help. Her backpack, a black and purple Jansport, was the easiest to carry. It held only her art supplies; notebook, pencils, paints, and some books.
She hadn't dropped off her stuff before she had run into Soren and Rick. As she struggled past Room 100, she couldn't help but smile. She passed by the Room, then Room 101, and finally, Room 102. She opened the door, and remembered to tread lightly, for Rick had just thrown his own lugage in. She hoisted her extremely heavy load, and placed it down near a bed that was perfectly made. Well, she now had this bad.
She looked around, trying to get her surroundings. There were a few more beds ready, and one would be Ricks. She opened up the bedside dresser, gently placing a photo of her Father on top. She opened the top drawer, placing all her art supplies and her backpack inside. Then, she unpacked, putting her shirts and pants in the bottom drawer, and her other clothes she had brought in the middle. he put her shoes, all two extra pairs, by the foot of the bed. She placed her hairbrush, toothbrush, and toothpaste ontop of her dresser, for now. Her makeup went into her little makeup pouch she had brought, and put it atop the table as well.

Rick trudged along down the hallway, striding along easily thanks to his long legs. He was wearing tight dark blue pants and a thick, black sweater with a white and navy blue scarf around his neck. With a bored, placid look on his face, he made his way down the hall, making sure to count the doors as he walked past them. Finally, Rick arrived at Room 102, glad that he'd gotten his bags in earlier so he wouldn't have to carry them in now. The snow had only gotten thicker since he'd arrived at CHU and he didn't want a huge trail of snow blocks following him to his dorm room and then having the snow melt on the floor. Rick did not appreicate puddles of water.
Whipping the dorm key out of his pocket, Rick stuck it in the lock in a very uncaring fashion and opened the door slowly, making sure his bags weren't right in his way. Thankfully, they were set up against the wall behind the door, so he wasn't going to trip over them anytime soon, unless he was pathetically ungraceful. Which, to his knowledge, he wasn't.
Grabbing his bags, Rick then went to his room and dragged the bags into the bedroom he'd selected earlier, which he was happy to find nobody else had moved into yet. With a small groan, he put his duffel bag on top of the bed to properly claim it, and set the larger suitcase next to the dark mahogany dresser in the corner, and put the smaller suitcase next to the nightstand by the double bed. Rick admired the room for a while, decididng that without really trying it out, that it was comfy. It kind of looked like a hotel room and he even saw three small steps leading up to a bathroom. Rick smirked in gratitude - that meant no more sharing showers.
Curious to find out who he was rooming with besides Nattalie, Rick went out of his room (completely passing Nattalie in the process), and went out into the main room, cupping his hands around his mouth. "ANYBODY HOME?" He shouted, grinning jovially afterwards. That was sure to get his dormies' attention.

Scout was sitting in the couch on the opposite side of the Room. In her lap was her infamous black notebook where she writes all her songs. She was in the middle of a song:
I'm so tired of being here Suppressed by all my childish fears And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave 'Cause your presence still lingers here And it won't leave me alone..
So far she liked it. It was turning out good and emotional. Like all her other songs. She smiled childishly looking at the lyrics as she started writing some more:
These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase...
She was soon interrupted by someone yelling. She jumped because she thought she was the only one in the dorm at the moment. She was first here, but was being quiet so no one would really know. Looking up, she saw him. Her ex Rick Hazel. God no she thought in her head when she saw him. You gotta be kidding me. Her and Rick used to go out in their first year here, but broke up on bad terms. So, now it seems she is expected to live with him for the next year. She couldn't believe it. "Tell me, are you just here to help a friend unpack?" she asked hoping that was the reason the boy was in the dormitory. [/blockquote]

Rick's ears perked up immediately. He knew that voice! He recognized it and all. How could he not? It was all too familiar a voice for him. He turned around searching for the source of the voice and was genuinely surprised to find Scout Channing sitting on one of the couches in his dorm room. He narrowed his eyes in suspiscion.
"Scout?!" Rick shouted, still surprised to see her actually there. He'd known it was her voice, but he'd been secretly hoping as he turned around that it would all just be a mistake and she'd turn out to be someone entirely different. Given Scout and Rick's history, this wasn't much of a surprise. "What the hell are you doing here?" Rick didn't curse that often and even the word hell was a stretch for him, but this situation certainly called for a little tastelessness. Part of him wanted to laugh at that part. You know, Scout = tasteless? Yeah...pretty funny.
Then Rick cocked his head to the side and realized their predicament. They both were pretty pissed at each other, wanted nothing to do with the other and now were stuck in a dorm room together and confused about why. So far, it seemed like Nattalie was going to be Rick's only cool roommate. Not much of a problem at all; he enjoyed hanging out with her. Just as long as Croy wasn't tagging along.
"Ah, sorry Princess," Rick spat, walking over to Scout where she was seated so that he towered over her. Rick always liked using his height for intimidation, but knowing Scout, he probably wouldn't scare her. Just frustrate her beyond belief. "I'm here to stay. And it looks like you are too." Rick sighed and took the seat next to Scout, a smug grin on his face.
Then his eyes widened as if he'd just remembered something terribly important, but Rick was just faking it. "Oh my god, Scout! Hey, hey...are you still doing the..." Rick made a gurgled noise and a rude gesture with his hands which included him making a circle with his right thumb and index finger and inserting his left index finger in the circle...or hole, if you catch Rick's drift, "business? Or are you just getting paid for it now?" Rick's face fell and a frown replaced his grin, because he was seriously disappointed in Scout the day he found out what she...did.
His image of her now will always be tainted, ever since the day he found those letters. Now every time he sees Scout, he imagine her in some compromising position or as a slut - and not in that pleasant way perverted boys sometimes imagine girls. This was just out of pure disgust. But through all his fury and disgust, Rick was still worried about Scout and her lifestyle and wanted to help her...somehow.

Scout glared at her ex. Was he actually trying to piss her off? Well he sure was doing a good job of it. She wondered if she should tell him why she does it. Probably should, but she was too proud to do so. "Well you see, I live here. And trust me, I am not liking it so far." she told him with an eye roll. She was in a middle of a song and was completly interrupted by him being a jerk. So, she was going to be alittle pissed.
Scout rolled her eyes in annoyance when he called her princess. She hated it and he sure as hell would know that. It was her luck of course to end up in the same dorm as the boy she hated. What she doesn't know is that Croy was also in this dorm. That was going to be awsome since her and Croy are not comfortable around each other since that ONE drunken night.
Scout fiercly threw a pillow at Rick for his rude gesture. Yes, she was still in that business but it is not like she was proud of it. She was only in it for the money because her parents wouldn't pay for her college tuition. And of course her parents hate her as well because of her job choice, when it was their own fault to begin with. She refused to answer the question, it was none of his business in the first place.
"If you'll excuse me Rick, I am in the middle of writing." she spat at him with a mock polite voice. She rolled her eyes again and looked back down at her notebook and continued to write since she was just so rudely interrupted.
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years But you still have All of me

"You mean you're not happy to see me?" Rick pouted, putting on his best puppy-dog eyes even though he was just teasing Scout and seeing how far he could go until he annoyed her to death. Or something along those lines. "But I'm just so happy that we're rooming!" Rick exclaimed, his eyes wide. "I mean, now I won't have to use the Internet for porn. I've got you!"
It had become very obvious at this point that Rick not only wasn't going to drop the whole Adult Films thing, but that he was going to be an asshole about the entire thing. Really, that was all fine and dandy with Rick. He was allowed to be a prick when he wanted. Which was...right now.
Rick easily caught the pillow Scout threw at him, thanks to his super-fast reflexes. That, and he totally saw it coming. Grinning from behind the pillow, Rick just shrugged and placed it in his lap, trying his best too look as innocent as ever. Which surprisingly wasn't very hard for him. When Scout remained silent however, Rick facade disappeared. "What? Don't want to dignify that with an answer, Princess?" Rick sighed when she continued not to answer and he put his hands behind his head and leaned back in his seat, still staring at Scout. "It's okay. I'll get it out of you one way or another." Rick then winked crudely and chuckled to himself.
"Ha, you're writing again? It's amazing how you get all this free time..."

Scout's anger was rising. And Rick should know that. She hated that he knew how to annoy her, that is what she gets for getting close to someone. She gets screwed over and it is fucking messed up. "Sorry, but I don't do free shows." she spat at him with annoyance. She wanted to kill the idiot, and probably wouldn't be happening anytime soon.
Shit! he is going to blab my secret isn't he? Of course he is! He is an effing prick! she yelled in her head knowing what he was thinking. She needed to think of a way to stop him. That was going to be hard, she knew it. So, right know she was thinking of ways to stop the impossible. Her eyes darted up at him again. "If you want to know so bad, why don't you rummage through my mail again? Surely you'll find something." she said rolling her eyes in annoyance. Sure, it was a bad excuse saying it was his fault he found out. But it was the only way she could keep her head steady. Not like she wanted to be a porn star, it was her only choice so she can go to college. But she definatly hates the profession. She glared at Rick, why can't he just leave her alone? Ha! Like that would happen since he was the world's biggest prick. "I never stopped writing. That is what I do." she told him with an eye roll. She looked back down at her paper and continued her writing. You used to captivate me By your resonating light Now I'm bound by the life you left behind Your face it haunts My once pleasant dreams Your voice it chased away All the sanity in me[/blockquote]

"It doesn't have to be free," Rick retorted, cocking an eyebrow overconfidently. "I can pay you. Just name the price, darling, and I'm there." He grinned, knowing that he was probably annoying Scout out of her wits, but he got immense pleasure from badgering his enemies. Not that Scout was his enemy...yet. It was a bit sadistic, but Rick didn't mind. He thought it was just fun.
He was a bully, after all.
"Hey, I might just do that," Rick said, pretending like he was considering going through Scout's stuff again. He wasn't interested at all and a small part of him was scared about what he'd find in there now. "I'm sure you've grown more...experienced?" Rick grinned again, but his grin faltered for a moment and gave an audible sigh.
"I don't like this, Scout. This...situation you've got yourself in. Like, what the hell were you thinking?!" Rick cried, keeping his voice relatively quiet in case somebody else was in their dorm. Rick wasn't necessarily out to ruin Scout's life - he just liked being the only one to bother her about it. It was hard to describe, but it was something like a twisted friendship. That, and he had no real reason to blab her secret to the world. That would seriously be a low blow.
"Whatever, I suppose it's not my place, huh?" Rick snapped, angry at himself for that momentary display of weakness (ie. emotion), and mad at Scout for driving him to it. He cared about her still, really he did.
"You just go on writing. I'll go find someone else to spend my precious time with, okay Princess? Does that sound good to you?"

Scout glared at Rick. She was highly annoyed with his bitching ass. "I am not like that you little jerk!" she snapped at him. Her eyes were fierce and annoyed. She knew about Rick's games. He was playing with her mind, but Scout also knew she let him win. She snapped back and was annoyed. It was really dumb. But, Scout was weak, that was well known.
"Go right ahead. I am sure you won't find something you don't know already." she hissed at him with venom in her voice. Scout has nothing to hide from him anymore. All her mail will show was that she was still in that bussiness. But if he looks hard enough he will see she hates everything about it.
Scout was about to leave when Rick like snapped at her. She listened to what he said, it sounded as if he generally...cared? Does Rick Hazel actually care? "I was thinking that my parents weren't going to pay for college and this was the only way for me to get in." she told him quietly. "I was thinking my parents hate me now because of it but I needed the money since no one will provide it." she sighed and gripped her notebook staring down at what she had just written.
These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years But you still have All of me
Scout sat there quietly. Staring down at what she written. She looked up at Rick when he snapped at her again. She didn't snap back this time. She tore the song out of the notebook and and looked down at the lyrics. "Here" she said quietly giving it to him. She got up and held the notebook to her side. "I am going to go, bye." then turned and left him there.
